It started 15 years ago as a small minyan in a bomb shelter. It's now a vibrant kehila hundreds strong.
Some are in Har Nof for a few years, and some have settled here long-term. Far from their hometowns, these Anglos have created a shul which serves as a family and support system in this unfamiliar landscape.
For temporary and long-term residents alike, Kehilas Avreichim provides community, connection, and authentic Torah ideals.

Onwards and upwards
We've long outgrown our bomb shelter
After many years of searching, we succeeded in securing a purpose-built plot. There's room for 150 mispallelim, a spacious ladies' section, and a designated room for kiddushim, shiurim, and events.

Our Rav
Rav Avigdor Brazil
The guiding force of Kehilas Avreichim, bringing his many years of experience as a mashgiach, maggid shiur, and rosh kollel to our kehila. He is known for his legendary Friday night derashos, his clarity of hashkafa, and the unique personal attention he gives to each member of the kehila.
Many alumni remain in close contact with the Rav even years after leaving Har Nof.
